We’re thrilled to share something special rolling out at The Alnwick Gardens – a fleet of brand new mini tractors, donated by us here at W.L Straughan & Son.
As a family-run business rooted in agriculture, civils, and environmental work, we’re passionate about getting the next generation excited about the great outdoors – and what better way than through play? These pedal-powered tractors aren’t just great fun – they’re a light-hearted nod to our farming and machinery heritage, and a way of connecting children with rural life in a hands-on way.
Tractor and Truck Day
Tractor and Truck Day on Friday 25th July at Alnwick Garden was a roaring success – with families turning out in force to enjoy a day packed with engine-themed fun. From vintage vehicles to our brand new fleet of mini tractors, there was something for every age to enjoy.
It was brilliant to see so many young visitors hopping onto the pedal-powered tractors and getting stuck into the action – exactly what we hoped for when we teamed up with The Alnwick Garden. Seeing smiles on faces and mud on boots reminded us why partnerships like this matter.
We’re proud to have played a part in such a joyful, community-focused day – and we’re already looking forward to what comes next.
