Scope of works

  • Installation of 11km of fencing.
  • 75000 trees planted.
  • 8 river crossings installed.
  • 15 solar powered troughs and water extraction units.

Outcome / points of interest

The ‘Wider Wallington Project’ has allowed natural regeneration of scrubland along the estate’s water courses. The tree planting has also contributed to the estate’s carbon reduction plans. Watercourse contamination has now reduced, by fencing off the area and providing an alternative water source for livestock. Overall, this project has created a better habitat for wildlife.
